모든 행성들이 담긴 전경

황도면을 따라 보이는 360도 풍경이 별이 빛나는 하늘에서 일곱 개의 행성과 함께 이 놀라운 전경에 담겨있습니다. 이 모자이크 사진은 필리핀 팔라완(Palawan)섬 엘 니도 낙판(El Nido Nacpan) 해변에서 1월 24일~26일에 얻은 사진을 사용하여 만든 것입니다. 이 사진은 어두운 이른 아침 시간이 담긴 동쪽 지평선(왼쪽)과 저녁하늘이 담긴 서쪽 지평선이 담겨 있습니다. 황도가 황도광의 희미한 띠에 의해 중앙을 따라 자취를 남기는 반면 은하수 역시 각도를 갖고 사진을 가르고 있습니다. 구름과 달이 동쪽하늘에서 발 빠른 행성 수성과 만나고 있습니다. 노르스름한 토성, 밝은 별 안타레스와 목성은 오른 쪽 끝으로 황도면에 놓여있습니다. 중앙 근처에 황도면을 끌어안고 있는 것은 황소자리 알파성인 레굴루스와 산개 성단 M44입니다. 서쪽지평선 위의 황도면을 따라 모여 있는 저녁에 보이는 행성들은 희미한 천왕성, 불그스름한 화성, 밝은 금성, 매우 희미한 해왕성입니다. 파노라마 이미지에 각각의 이름이 잘 붙어 있는 전경사진은 사진에 마우스 커서를 올리거나 이 링크를 통해 볼 수 있습니다.

Explanation: For 360 degrees, a view along the plane of the ecliptic is captured in this remarkable panorama, with seven planets in a starry sky. The mosaic was constructed using images taken during January 24-26, from Nacpan Beach, El Nido in Palawan, Philippines. It covers the eastern horizon (left) in dark early morning hours and the western horizon in evening skies. While the ecliptic runs along the middle traced by a faint band of zodiacal light, the Milky Way also cuts at angles through the frame. Clouds and the Moon join fleeting planet Mercury in the east. Yellowish Saturn, bright star Antares, and Jupiter lie near the ecliptic farther right. Hugging the ecliptic near center are Leo's alpha star Regulus and star cluster M44. The evening planets gathered along the ecliptic above the western horizon, are faint Uranus, ruddy Mars, brilliant Venus, and even fainter Neptune.
