달이 떠오르며 발생하는 개기월식

먼 수평선의 대기가 인도의 눈 덮인 히말라야 산맥의 트리술 봉우리 쪽으로 보입니다. 1월 31일 멀리 떨어진 지역에서 촬영한 사진에서 오른쪽 위에 밝은 별 프로키온이 반짝이고 있습니다. 떠오르는 붉은 달이 개기월식이 발생할 저녁 시간동안 지구의 그림자 속으로 미끄러져 들어가고 있습니다. 지구의 밤 시간에 즐기던 월식은 2018년 있을 두 번의 개기월식 중 처음이었으며, 달 관측자들에게는 좋은 시작이었습니다. 그러나 이것은 매우 드문 일입니다. 블루문이라고도 알려진 한 달의 두 번째 보름은 달이 지구를 도는 궤도의 가장 가까운 지점인 근지점에서 개기월식으로 어렴풋이 나타났습니다. 2018년 7월 27일의 개기월식에서는 보름달이 원지점에 매우 가까이 있을 것입니다.

Explanation: This atmospheric picture of a distant horizon looks toward the tall Trisul peaks of India's snowy Himalayan mountains. Taken from a remote location on January 31, bright star Procyon shines at the upper right. The red Moon rising is gliding through Earth's shadow during the evening's much anticipated total lunar eclipse. Enjoyed across the planet's night side, the eclipse was the first of two total lunar eclipses in 2018, kicking off a good year for moonwatchers. But this was a rare treat. The eclipsed Moon also loomed large near perigee, the closest point in its orbit, during the second Full Moon of the month, also known as a Blue Moon. For the July 27, 2018 total lunar eclipse, the Full Moon will be very near apogee.
