작은 행성의 큐리오시티

큐리오시티 로봇은 항상 완전히 작은 바위로 된 이 행성 위에 올라 서 있습니다. 물론 이 행성은 화성이고, 로봇은 자동차 크기의 큐리오시티 로봇입니다. 최근 천공 목표인 sharp 산 낮은 부분의 Marias Pass 지역에서 탐사를 위한 자세를 취하고 있습니다. 92장의 이미지를 사용하여 디지털 방식으로 휘어있고, 360X180도를 덮어 모자이크 형태로 붙여서 작은 행성을 만들었습니다. 이 이미지는 큐리오시티가 미션을 수행하던 1,065 화성일 동안 MAHLI(Mars Hand Lens Imager)에 의해 촬영한 것입니다. 이 이미지는 2015년 8월 5일에 전송되었고, 지구일로 3년 전 큐리오시티는 붉은 행성의 표면에 착륙했습니다. 이 합성 셀프카메라는 화성탐사로봇의 로봇팔과 MAHLI 카메라 자체의 지지대가 찍힌 이미지를 제외하였습니다. 하지만 그것들의 모습은 바닥 아래 그림자를 통해 보여집니다. 큐리오시티의 1,065 화성일 동안 촬영 된 사진을 합성하여 만든 파노라마가 장관을 이루는 모습을 확인해보시기 바랍니다.

Explanation: A curious robot almost completely straddles this rocky little planet. Of course, the planet is really Mars and the robot is the car-sized Curiosity Rover, posing over its recent drilling target in the Marias Pass area of lower Mount Sharp. The 92 images used to assemble the little planet projection, a digitally warped and stitched mosaic covering 360x180 degrees, were taken by the rover's Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) during the Curiosity mission sol (martian day) 1065. That corresponds to 2015 August 5, three Earth years since Curiosity landed on the surface of the Red Planet. The composite selfie excludes images that show the rover's robotic arm and mount of the MAHLI camera itself, but their shadow is visible beneath.
